Langford Litter Clean Up Event - November
The Greater Victoria Green Team is hosting 3 volunteer opportunities in partnership with the City of Langford:
Saturday, October 28th (9:45 am – 1:00 pm): invasive plants removal such as English ivy from an important habitat protection area at Porcher Park. Info & sign ups can be found HERE on the Greater Victoria Green Team Meetup page.
Saturday, November 4th (9:45am - 1:00pm): Westshore community in Greater Victoria Green Team’s first ever litter cleanup activity around Langford. Meeting at 701 Station Ave. Info & sign ups can be found HERE on the Greater Victoria Green Team Meetup page.

All ages, abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome! The Greater Victoria Green Team will provide training, tools, and gloves for volunteers. There will also be delicious snacks!
These activities are a great opportunity for youth and community to spend time together outside, meet new people, learn new skills, and make a real difference in the community by taking care of nature. Giving back to these local habitat protection areas fosters an incredible sense of connection to the people and places involved.
This is also a great way to gain volunteer experience and the Greater Victoria Green Team is happy to sign off on volunteer hours for anyone who needs them.
